Overview
Client is seeking Embedded Software Engineers to support missile programs through the analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance of embedded real-time C++ software and Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware solutions.
This role focuses on developing and supporting mission-critical software systems in an onsite engineering environment, working with embedded technologies and middleware platforms that support advanced missile applications.
Core Responsibilities
• Perform requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance of embedded real-time C++ software.
• Develop and support Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware software for missile program applications.
• Create and maintain device driver software in embedded environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support software integration and system functionality.
Education Level
• Bachelors and 11+ years experience or Masters and 9+ years of experience
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
• Active Secret Security Clearance with the most recent investigation completed within the last 5 years.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in real-time embedded C++ programming.
• Hands-on experience with Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware software.
• Experience developing device driver software.
Preferred Skills or Experience
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.
Work Details
• Onsite full-time position in Grand Prairie, Texas.
• Work schedule: 4/10A, 1st Shift.
• Non-Exempt position.
• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
