Overview
Client is seeking a qualified Embedded Software Engineer to support missile programs through the analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance of embedded real-time Ada software.
This role supports a fast-paced engineering environment focused on embedded systems development and requires hands-on experience with real-time operating systems and defense-related software applications.
Core Responsibilities
• Perform requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance of embedded real-time Ada software.
• Support missile program software development activities throughout the software lifecycle.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
• Active Secret security clearance with the most recent investigation completed within the last 5 years.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in real-time embedded Ada programming.
• Hands-on experience with VxWorks 6.9 and/or VxWorks 7.0.
Preferred Skills or Experience
• Experience with C++.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.
• Experience with Linux CentOS.
Work Details
• Onsite full-time position in Grand Prairie, Texas.
• Work schedule: 4/10A, 1st Shift.
• Active Secret security clearance is required.
