Description:
Consist of engineering hardware fabrication support, troubleshooting, testing and basic Laboratory operations responsibility. Some climbing on ladders (3 - 5 feet) may be required as well as lifting up to 50 lbs.
These responsibilities will include fabrication of electronic/electrical chassis' and mechanical rack fabrication using development engineering drawings. Candidate must be capable of working independently, discussing technical issues with customers and working with vendors. An AA in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is highly preferred.
Candidate must:
- read and understand drawings and diagrams, can conduct physical and electronic tests on electronic assemblies and subassemblies, disassembly and reassembly of electronic assemblies and subassemblies.
- maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety standards.
- be able to follow and execute procedures, standards, and sequences.
- have attention to detail
- have experience with reading and interpreting process specs and drawings.
