Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Location: North Phoenix – 19th Ave & Pinnacle Peak
Pay:$17.00–$25.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join a manufacturing team in North Phoenix. This position is responsible for assembling electrical and sheet metal components and sub-assemblies according to customer specifications, drawings, and production requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous aerospace manufacturing experience along with hands-on electrical assembly, soldering, mechanical assembly, and schematic reading experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical and mechanical components according to customer specifications.

  • Build electrical components and sheet metal sub-assemblies.

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and mechanical schematics.

  • Perform soldering during electrical assembly processes.

  • Solder glass components into cases as required.

  • Perform induction brazing when applicable.

  • Use various hand tools, specialty tools, fixtures, and production equipment.

  • Inspect completed assemblies for workmanship and quality.

  • Follow production drawings, work instructions, and established procedures.

  • Work independently or as part of a production cell.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Perform additional production duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of aerospace manufacturing experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of electrical component assembly experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of soldering experience.

  • Minimum 1 year of mechanical assembly experience.

  • Strong ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Must be able to read and communicate fluently in English.

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

Preferred Experience

  • Epoxy and adhesive application for assemblies.

  • Glass assembly, particularly cockpit display components.

  • Induction brazing experience.

  • Sheet metal assembly experience.

  • Previous experience manufacturing aerospace electrical components or assemblies.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform detailed visual inspections with corrected vision of 20/20.

  • Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

  • Ability to wear required PPE.

  • Must be available to work overtime as needed.
