PRIMARY PURPOSE:
An electrical technician installs, troubleshoots, maintains and repairs electrical systems and components of industrial machinery, equipment and building systems following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams and other specifications using hand tools, power tools, computers and electrical test equipment.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems for industrial machinery and facility operations
- Diagnose equipment issues and perform preventative maintenance to support production efficiency
- Work with electrical schematics, PLC systems, motor controls, and automated equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Maintain accurate documentation and update technical drawings as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment optimization
- Utilize strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Requires an associate degree in a technical field and 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Preferred experience with Siemens or Allen Bradley PLCs, industrial networks, and electro-mechanical systems
