Nesco Resource is currently hiring Doffers for a textile manufacturing facility in the Enoree, SC area. We are seeking dependable, hardworking candidates who are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Remove completed rolls, yarn, or material from textile machinery.
- Replace empty tubes, cones, bobbins, or other production materials.
- Assist with keeping textile machinery running efficiently.
- Monitor materials for quality issues or defects.
- Move and stage finished materials in designated areas.
- Keep machines and surrounding work areas clean and organized.
- Follow production and quality specifications.
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
- Perform additional production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous textile or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Doffing, weaving, knitting, spinning, or machine operating experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must be dependable with strong attendance.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials throughout the shift.
- Must be comfortable working around manufacturing machinery.
- Steel-toe shoes and long pants are required.
