Job Summary:
Position will last at least 3 months

This position is responsible for requesting, reviewing, and following-up on documentation required for quality documentation on raw materials supplied to Erlanger. This role will be accountable for maintaining the accuracy of the supplier documentation database data. Role works closely with Erlanger quality, procurement, and business stakeholders to facilitate sustained compliance in up to date documentation.
This position reports to the Raw Material and Food Safety Specialist.

Job Responsibilities:
Generate email requests to vendors based off all the materials purchased from them and request updated documents that are expired.
Follow-up with vendors for updated documentation that is missing or inaccurate
File documentation in based on document and item type.
Managing requests that are out and what documents are still missing from requests.
Review documentation for completeness and accuracy to requested documentation.
Generate supplier specific emails based on needs.
Requests sent to vendors are escalated to procurement within the given time frame.
Uploading and categorize documents based on predefined categories and metadata required.

Job Requirements:
Work independently
Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
Remain flexible with changing requirements
Strong communication skills to be able to build consensus and positive relationships among vendors
Detail oriented
Ability to multi-task while exhibiting strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
Quality and food safety experience preferred
