Our client is seeking a highly organized Document Control Coordinator to support a small engineering and manufacturing team. This role is responsible for maintaining electronic records, processing document updates, organizing engineering files, and ensuring accurate document control throughout the organization.

Rochester, NY 100% on-site office location in manufacturing facility
$22-$24/hr | Full-Time | Day Shift

This position is a great fit for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working with spreadsheets, databases, file management, and detailed documentation.

Responsibilities

• Scan, upload, organize, and maintain engineering drawings and documents
• Manage document revisions and ensure current versions are available to production and internal teams
• Process document changes and update records within company systems
• Create and maintain manufacturing order folders and supporting documentation
• Perform data entry, file validation, document tracking, and records management activities
• Assist with updating procedures, work instructions, and standard documentation
• Generate reports, spreadsheets, charts, and other administrative materials as needed
• Support the transition of paper records into electronic systems
• Provide general administrative support to the engineering department

Qualifications

• Previous experience in administrative support, document control, records management, data entry, or office coordination
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Experience with document management systems, ERP software, or engineering databases is a plus
