Position Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Teams, Excel, and Outlook primarily.
- Answer and respond to incoming phone calls and samsara messages from drivers.
- Adhere to defined processes and procedures as outlined by the GM of Dedicated Operations.
- Ensure route drivers are checked in and accounted for during each working shift.
- Attempt to cover routes due to unplanned absences and communicate accordingly.
- Communicate trailer mechanical issues to Kim Wells or Vascor Transport Maintenance depending upon terminal location.
- Work with drivers to help resolve any issues that may arise.
- Document information on the daily shift summary.
- Continually introduce best practices and drive operational excellence.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Update, add or change the daily schedules. Communicate the changes in the shift summary.
