Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Designer / CAD Designer to support engineering and product design activities. This role involves creating, modifying, and completing detailed engineering drawings for parts, assemblies, and installations using established engineering references, layouts, specifications, and direction from engineering teams.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with PTC Creo and PTC Windchill and be comfortable developing accurate engineering documentation in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities

Create, revise, and complete engineering drawings for parts, assemblies, and installations.

Use PTC Creo to develop and modify 3D models, layouts, and detailed engineering drawings.

Utilize PTC Windchill for product data management, drawing revisions, and engineering documentation workflows.

Interpret engineering layouts, sketches, specifications, notes, and established design references.

Prepare detailed production drawings and specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations.

Apply standard engineering drafting practices, including dimensions, section views, centerlines, reference planes, and hidden-line details.

Review and complete drawings prepared by other team members.

Incorporate engineering changes and design revisions while maintaining drawing accuracy and document control.

Support design modifications that improve product quality, manufacturability, and production efficiency.

Collaborate remotely with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, complete engineering deliverables.
Required Qualifications

Professional experience in engineering design, mechanical drafting, CAD design, or a related discipline.

Hands-on experience with PTC Creo is required.

Hands-on experience with PTC Windchill is required.

Experience creating and modifying detailed engineering drawings and 3D models.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, layouts, and technical documentation.

Knowledge of engineering drafting standards, dimensions, tolerances, and assembly drawings.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

U.S. Citizenship required.
Work Arrangement
This is a 100% remote position. Candidates must have practical experience using both Creo and Windchill; familiarity with only one of the two systems will not meet the requirements.
