Data Entry / Data Verification Specialist

Position Overview

The Data Entry / Data Verification Specialist is responsible for pulling information from various internal systems, entering data into designated documents, and performing quality verification to ensure accuracy and completeness. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, and a commitment to meeting productivity and accuracy standards.

Attendance and reliability are critical to success in this position. Candidates must be able to commit to 38–40 hours per week.


Key Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and compile data from internal software applications into centralized documents
  • Perform quality verification of existing and newly entered data
  • Research and validate information to ensure all housed data is accurate and current
  • Follow established corporate and departmental policies and procedures
  • Maintain productivity and accuracy standards in a deadline-driven environment
  • Support cross-functional department coverage through cross-training initiatives
  • Assist with additional duties and special projects as assigned

Additional Responsibilities

  • Cross-train in additional functional areas including:
    • Keying
    • Reassociation
    • Data entry support
  • Support department operational coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed instructions
  • Flexible and willing to work additional hours as needed
  • Ability to adapt to change and remain effective under pressure
  • Strong commitment to meeting production and accuracy expectations
  • Ability to meet productivity and quality standards within 90 days of training completion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in:
    • Lockbox operations
    • Data entry
    • Data collection
    • Related production or processing environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
