Overview
Client is seeking a Data Analyst to develop, inspect, transform, and model data to improve productivity, support decision-making, and drive operational efficiencies within an engineering environment. This role focuses on building data pipelines, validating and integrating data from multiple sources, and delivering analytical insights through reporting and dashboarding solutions.

The position works closely with technical developers, data scientists, suppliers, and business stakeholders to support data governance, project tracking, document processing, and AI-driven initiatives designed to identify trends and improve team effectiveness.

Core Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and optimize end-to-end data processing pipelines, including ETL workflows, data validation, and data integration activities.
• Perform statistical analysis and data modeling to support forecasting, classification, entity linking, and business decision-making.
• Build and maintain analytical systems, dashboards, and reports while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with technical developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define business outcomes and govern data capabilities.
• Process and transform unstructured documents into clean, usable datasets.
• Support leadership reporting by preparing status updates and monitoring project progress.
• Assist with intervention planning, issue resolution, and problem-solving activities alongside project managers, suppliers, and internal customers.
• Manage supplier task completion, coordinate system access activities, and support security-related compliance efforts.
• Contribute to AI bot development and automation initiatives that improve trend identification and operational efficiency.

Education Level
Bachelors' and 6+ years or Masters' and 4+ years

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
• Python 3.10+ experience with production-level scripting and development of deterministic data pipelines, including ETL processes, linking logic, and data validation.
• Experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, and boto3.
• Strong data cleaning, data integration, and document processing capabilities.
• Experience designing data models and entity-linking solutions, including key and join design across datasets.
• SQL proficiency.
• Experience with dashboarding tools, including Tableau.
• Experience using Databricks.
• Experience with API development, including FastAPI and basic frontend-backend integration.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build consensus, influence stakeholders, and communicate future-state solutions.

Preferred Skills or Experience
• Frontend development experience, including technologies such as React.
• API integration experience.
• Experience creating stored procedures.
• Experience with Tableau Prep and/or Alteryx.
• Experience with SSO and authentication integration.
• Knowledge of supply chain management systems and sourcing processes.

Work Details
Hybrid schedule with onsite work Monday through Wednesday and remote work on Thursday off on Friday
Worker will telework 50% or more of the time.
Flexible work schedule (10 hour days, 4 days a week).
• Non-Exempt position.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance; clearance is not required to start.
• Role requires access to ECI information.
• No travel expenses provided.
