Customer Service & Military Pricing Coordinator
Position Overview
The Customer Service & Military Pricing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate product, service, account, quotation, and pricing support.
This position serves as the primary point of coordination for customer quotations and pricing requests, partnering closely with sales, contracts, divisions, and other internal teams to ensure quotes are accurate, competitive, and delivered on time. The role typically supports moderately complex or well-established customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Account Support
- Administer customer accounts by reviewing service and spare product requirements against existing purchase order terms, conditions, and maintenance agreements.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through courteous and efficient handling of customer requests.
- Prepare and submit correspondence in response to customer inquiries.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality regarding customer and company information.
- Respond to customer pricing inquiries, service concerns, and related requests.
Pricing, Quotations & RFQ Coordination
- Coordinate the end-to-end pricing and quotation process.
- Log incoming Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and verify completeness against customer requirements.
- Complete cost and pricing analysis and route requests to appropriate divisions for cost development within established turnaround times.
- Review draft quotations and proposals for:
- Pricing reasonableness
- Accuracy
- Formatting
- Consistency
- Maintain price lists, quote logs, pricing history, rate sheets, and customer-specific pricing agreements.
- Track open quotations and proactively follow up to prevent expired or outdated pricing.
- Communicate quote status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with sales, price estimating, contracts, and other functions to keep the quotation process moving efficiently.
Order & Production Coordination
- Coordinate with internal departments including:
- Quality
- Shipping and receiving
- Accounting
- Order entry
- Planning
- Shop personnel
- Release repairs to production once customer approval is received.
- Submit work orders to scheduling and update sales orders with delivery dates and repair costs.
- Develop action plans to address past-due items.
- May provide oversight of order entry and shipping activities for spare products.
Pricing Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate pricing and quotation records within applicable ERP and quoting systems.
- Ensure pricing files, rate sheets, and customer-specific agreements remain current and consistent with approved pricing guidance.
- Monitor customer accounts and prepare reports, including open-quote status reporting.
- Collect and analyze data to support pricing and customer-service decisions.
- Calculate discounts, proportions, percentages, and quote pricing as needed.
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Recommend opportunities for cost reduction and improvements to service quality and quoting efficiency.
- Develop knowledge of:
- Procurement practices
- FAA regulations
- Government procurement requirements, when applicable
- Products and manufacturing processes
- Pricing policies and procedures
- Support cross-functional and project teams, including pricing and proposal initiatives.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- One to two years of related college-level coursework, certificate completion, or related job training in:
- Business
- Finance
- Economics
- Engineering
- Data Analytics
- Related field
- Typically 4+ years of related experience
in one or more of the following:
- Customer service
- Pricing
- Quotation administration
- Administrative support
- Marketing/customer support
- Product support
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of customer service, pricing, and quotation administration practices.
- Understanding of FAA regulations and government procurement requirements when applicable.
- General understanding of manufacturing, inspection, and repair processes.
- Ability to work independently on moderately complex assignments.
- Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
- Ability to calculate discounts, percentages, proportions, and pricing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate pricing, technical, and customer information.
- Proficiency with standard business software applications.
- Experience with specialized spreadsheet, quoting, database, ERP, and MRP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and functions.
Pricing Coordination Skills
- Working knowledge of RFQ intake, quotation preparation, pricing analysis, and pricing workflow coordination.
- Experience maintaining accurate pricing files, quote logs, rate sheets, and customer-specific pricing agreements.
- Ability to track open quotes and proactively follow up on expiring pricing.
- Experience coordinating between sales, contracts, price estimating, and other internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing quotations for accuracy and consistency before customer submission.
- Familiarity with aerospace regulatory and compliance requirements, including FAA and applicable government contracting requirements.
