Customer Service Representative

- Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer support while maintaining accurate customer information and processing sales orders. This role serves as a key liaison between customers and internal departments, ensuring timely order processing, shipment coordination, and issue resolution.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, SAP experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and maintain accurate customer information.
- Perform administrative functions supporting customer service operations and sales order entry.
- Prepare and process customer orders for shipment.
- Provide customers with monthly status updates on open orders.
- Coordinate with Production to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain records related to asset delivery progress and invoicing.
- Collaborate with Buyers, Planners, and Production teams to monitor customer orders.
- Resolve customer licensing issues and document resolutions within the support database.
- Maintain and improve the integrity of customer and order data within SAP.
- Utilize continuous improvement principles and manufacturing system tools to improve processes.
- Support internal Oil & Gas customers by responding to order inquiries and service requests.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of customer service experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- 1–3 years of SAP or ERP system experience.
- Experience processing customer orders and sales order entry.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of ERP systems and order management processes.
- Experience coordinating with Production, Planning, and Purchasing teams.
- Experience supporting customers in industrial or Oil & Gas industries.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
