Position Overview
The Crash Records Customer Service Representative is responsible for gathering, reviewing, and processing traffic crash data submitted by Arizona law enforcement agencies. This position requires strong data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and verify information before entering it into the State's Crash Records Information System (CRIS).
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, compile, and analyze crash data received from Arizona law enforcement agencies.
- Review reports for accuracy and identify potentially erroneous information.
- Scan, index, and enter crash data into the State's database (CRIS).
- Interpret traffic crash reports and ensure information is entered accurately and timely.
- Verify and research discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to departmental procedures and guidelines.
- Perform repetitive, detail-oriented work while meeting productivity and accuracy standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of data entry experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient computer and keyboarding skills.
- Ability to interpret information and identify discrepancies.
- Experience working with multiple systems and databases.
- Ability to work independently and manage repetitive tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with records management, document processing, or administrative support.
- Experience reviewing legal, government, or law enforcement documentation.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
