Core Responsibilities:
- Follow digital pick-and-pack work instructions to fulfill customer and work orders accurately.
- Retrieve required items, verify part numbers and quantities, inspect for defects, and document order details.
- Securely pack items and utilize carrier shipping software to generate tracking labels and support export/transit documentation.
- Continuously inspect work orders and components to ensure complete, error-free shipments.
- Stage completed packages in designated carrier pickup zones.
- Organize and restock inventory shelves in the shipping area as needed.
- Monitor stock levels of essential shipping supplies and notify the supervisor of potential shortages.
- Participate in routine physical inventory counts and audits.
- Uphold and actively contribute to workplace safety protocols, proper tool usage, and facility cleanliness standards.
Key Requirements:
- Ability to work a standard 1st shift schedule (Monday – Friday, 4:30 AM – 1:00 PM).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to understand, process, and execute basic written instructions, order forms, and internal communications.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50–75 lbs.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational habits, and basic problem-solving skills.
- Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, and ratios).
- Willingness to be trained on material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) and pneumatic tools (staple and nail guns).
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience with standard carrier software (such as UPS WorldShip or FedEx) and processing hazardous material shipments.
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS software (such as SAP).
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and pneumatic hand tools.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent practical warehouse experience.
