Shift: 1st Shift Mon – Thurs 4am – 2:30pm + OT Friday- based on business needs
Pay: $18-$19 DOE
Location: Tolleson, Az (99th Ave & Buckeye)
Position Summary
The Crater will be responsible for building wooden crates, skids, and other protective packaging used to safely prepare manufactured products and components for shipment. This position requires someone who is comfortable using hand and power tools, accurately measuring materials, performing physical work, and working around large industrial products in a manufacturing environment.
Job Duties

Build wooden crates, skids, and pallets for finished products.

Measure and cut lumber to required dimensions.

Use tape measures, saws, nail guns, drills, and other hand/power tools.

Secure and package products to prevent damage during shipment.

Wrap, band, block, and brace products as needed.

Stage and prepare finished products for shipping.

Follow work orders and basic measurements/instructions.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Assist with general material handling and shipping duties as needed.
Qualifications

Previous crating, carpentry, framing, woodworking, construction, or manufacturing experience preferred.

Comfortable using a tape measure and making accurate cuts.

Experience with hand and power tools.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Forklift experience is a plus.
