Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Assemblers to join our Couplings Department in Elyria, Ohio. This position is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging coupling products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable working with hand tools, following work instructions, and maintaining production and quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble coupling components according to work instructions and specifications.
- Operate basic hand and power tools as needed.
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure products meet quality standards.
- Package finished products for shipment.
- Maintain accurate production records.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Assist with other production and assembly duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
