Corporate Recruiter/Talent Advisor
Location: Manhattan, NY
Schedule: Hybrid
Pay Rate: $50/hour
Type: 6-Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Hire
Nesco Resource is partnering with a leading energy and utility company to identify an experienced Talent Advisor to join their growing recruiting team. This is a high-visibility opportunity supporting large-scale hiring initiatives across engineering, utility, and telecom-related roles.
This position offers the potential to convert to a full-time permanent employee based on performance and business needs.
Position Overview
The Talent Advisor will manage full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while partnering closely with hiring managers, recruiting teams, and business leaders. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume hiring needs
- Source, screen, and coordinate candidates throughout the hiring process
- Utilize job boards, recruiting tools, and Applicant Tracking Systems to build candidate pipelines
- Support recruitment initiatives and organizational hiring projects
- Assist with union new hire orientations and onboarding activities
- Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting metrics, and reporting in Excel and internal systems
- Collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders to ensure a smooth hiring process
- Maintain professionalism and accuracy while working in a fast-moving environment
Qualifications
- 5+ years of recruiting experience in high-volume environments
- Experience recruiting within utility, engineering, telecom, or related industries preferred
- Strong full-cycle recruiting experience
- Union recruiting experience is highly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and CRM platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Background
- Utility industry experience
- Engineering or telecom recruiting experience
- Proven ability to manage large applicant pools and multiple requisitions simultaneously
- Strong reporting and data tracking experience

- Team Environment: Collaborative team of 10+ members
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
- Start Date: ASAP
