Talent Advisor (Corporate Recruiter)

Schedule: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Pay Rate:$50/hour
Type: 6-Month Contract with Strong Potential for Full-Time Conversion
About the Opportunity
Nesco Resource is partnering with a leading utility and energy organization to identify an experienced Talent Advisor to join a collaborative recruiting team. This is an exciting opportunity to support large-scale hiring initiatives across engineering, utility, and telecommunications-related positions while partnering closely with hiring managers and business leaders.
This position is expected to convert to a full-time employee by year-end based on performance and business needs.
What You'll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume hiring across multiple business units.
- Source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Build talent pipelines using job boards, sourcing tools, referrals, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies and ensure timely hiring.
- Support recruiting initiatives related to organizational restructuring and workforce planning.
- Assist with union new-hire orientations and onboarding activities.
- Maintain recruiting metrics, applicant tracking, and weekly status reporting using Excel and internal systems.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with recruiters, HR partners, and business stakeholders to meet hiring goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Proven success recruiting in high-volume environments.
- Experience sourcing, screening, and managing large applicant pools.
- Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel for reporting and data tracking.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting within the utility, energy, engineering, telecommunications, or infrastructure industries.
- Union recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting union onboarding or orientation activities.
- Background in compliance, auditing, or employment law.
- Proven ability to meet aggressive hiring goals and deadlines.
- Strong reporting and recruiting analytics experience.
Position Details

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM EST
- Contract: 6 months with strong potential for permanent hire
