Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Load, unload, stack, and move finished dairy products throughout the cooler and production areas.
- Pick, sort, bundle, and organize products for shipment and distribution.
- Transfer finished products manually or with material-handling equipment.
- Ensure products are properly labeled, identified, and organized.
- Rotate inventory to maintain product freshness and proper stock flow.
- Monitor products for damage, discrepancies, or quality concerns and report issues to supervisors.
- Assist with preparing orders and staging products for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Follow food safety guidelines, company procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
- Perform additional production and warehouse duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or material-handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated/cooler environment for extended periods.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to lift up to 50–60+ pounds, depending on assigned duties.
- Comfortable working in cold and refrigerated environments.
- Ability to safely handle products and operate assigned equipment.
