As a Contracts Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle contract process for consulting services supporting both the company and the company's clients from simple to complex business deals. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, make strategic decisions and implement best practices within our procurement and contracting function.

Duties/Responsibilities
Review, draft, and lead negotiations on a variety of contracts, ensuring they align with company policies and legal requirements.
Provide expert advice on contractual matters to the project team, highlighting any potential risks or issues.
Manage contract execution processes and ensure all contracts are correctly implemented and adhered to.
Conduct regular contract reviews and audits, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and legal advisors, to ensure smooth contract processes.
Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry trends that may impact contracts.
Provide training and guidance to team members on contract processes and best practices.
Resolves any contract-related disputes or issues in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management or equivalent and relevant experience in legal, procurement, sourcing, and risk management.
- Advanced knowledge in structuring goods & services contracts.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification in Contract Management or a related field preferred.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex contractual terms and conditions with high attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify potential risks and devise effective solutions.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in contract management software (e.g. Agiloft) and Microsoft Office suite.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to translate the business deal to contract terms and conditions.
