Load Builder / Lumber Yard Associate
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Load Builder / Lumber Yard Associate. In this role, you will help prepare and organize lumber and building materials for delivery to customer job sites. This is a hands-on position working in a fast-paced outdoor yard and warehouse environment where teamwork and reliability are highly valued.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, staying active throughout the day, and being part of a team that keeps operations moving efficiently.
Responsibilities
• Build and stack lumber and building material loads safely and accurately for delivery trucks
• Organize materials in the proper order for safe transport and easy unloading at job sites
• Work closely with drivers and yard personnel to ensure accurate and efficient load preparation
• Secure loads using straps, supports, and other materials as needed
• Assist with moving and handling materials throughout the yard and warehouse
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and loading guidelines
Requirements
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting, stacking, bending, and standing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow load instructions
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Warehouse, lumber yard, construction, or material handling experience is a plus, but not required
• Comfortable working in an outdoor and warehouse setting
