Compounding Technician / Chemical Operator
Hickory, NC
3rd Shift
Starting Pay: $18.00+ (Based on Experience)
Job Responsibilities:
- Process and mix chemicals following formulas and batch instructions
- Package and prepare finished products for shipment
- Monitor equipment and troubleshoot minor issues
- Operate a forklift as needed
- Complete production paperwork and documentation
- Use Microsoft Excel and Word for daily tasks
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Good math and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills, including Excel and Word
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work throughout the production facility
Preferred Experience:
- Chemical manufacturing or production experience
- Experience working with liquid processing equipment
- Knowledge of basic chemistry
- Experience with boilers, wastewater systems, or hoisting equipment is a plus
- Forklift experience preferred
Ideal candidates will be safety-focused, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a chemical manufacturing environment.
