What a Typical Day Looks Like:
- Review wiring diagrams and work orders.
- Set up coil-forming devices on machines.
- Thread wire through tension devices and guides.
- Wrap insulation or insert plastic blocks.
- Cut wire and shape end windings.
- Wind materials around the coil and apply varnish, epoxy, or wax.
- Strip insulation from lead wires and solder to terminals.
- Read and understand simple instructions in English.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in coil winding or related field preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and work orders.
- Familiarity with hand tools and soldering equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
