Position: Coating Technician
Location: West Henrietta, NY

Summary:  Nesco Resource is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Coating Technician to join a manufacturing team in West Henrietta, NY. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers hands-on experience in a clean room production environment with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs. The Coating Technician will support daily production goals by operating coating equipment, handling glass substrates, performing inspections, and maintaining strict quality and cleanliness standards. This role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, comfortable working with small components, and take pride in producing high-quality products.

Pay Rate:

  • $18.00 - $20.00/Hour (Based On Experience)
    • + 10% Shift Diff. For 2nd Shift

Shift(s):

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Monday - Friday
  • 2nd Shift:  3:00 PM - 11:30 PM | Monday - Friday

Job Duties:

  • Operate coating equipment and support production activities within the department
  • Load and unload glass substrates and parts into coating machinery
  • Wash parts using automated washing equipment or manual processes
  • Perform visual inspections of glass substrates before and after coating processes
  • Use a sandblaster to clean parts as needed (typically one day per week)
  • Maintain production goals while following strict clean room procedures
  • Follow detailed work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards
  • Handle small parts carefully while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with clean room requirements
  • Communicate production concerns, quality issues, or equipment problems to leadership

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous manufacturing, production, or clean room experience preferred
  • Ability to follow clean room procedures and safety requirements
  • Strong understanding of basic math principles
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions and documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Comfortable working with small components and precision processes
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and work for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Frequent use of hands for handling small components and materials
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
  • Ability to work in a clean room manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable wearing required clean room garments and PPE
