We are seeking a skilled Water Jet Operator to safely and efficiently operate CNC water jet cutting equipment used in the fabrication of glass products. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machinery, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC water jet cutting machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
- Measure and verify glass dimensions to ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor equipment performance, make adjustments, and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Safely handle glass materials and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of CNC water jet operating experience in manufacturing or glass fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong math and measurement skills with experience using precision measuring tools.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC programming software.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to pass a preemployment screening
Shift 1 st (Monday through Friday 7 am to 5 pm)
Salary $21 an hour
