Senior CNC Programmer
Location: Tulsa Metro Area
Position Summary
A well-established advanced manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support precision machining operations. This individual will develop, optimize, and validate CNC programs for complex machined components while partnering with engineering and production teams to improve quality, efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex machining challenges, optimizing manufacturing processes, and supporting production in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and meet applicable export control requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and maintain CNC machining programs for precision-manufactured components.

Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.

Determine machining strategies, tooling, feeds, speeds, and cutting paths to maximize efficiency and quality.

Validate machining programs through simulation and production prove-outs.

Troubleshoot machining and production issues while implementing programming improvements.

Optimize existing CNC programs to improve cycle times, consistency, and manufacturability.

Partner with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and production teams to support new product introductions and ongoing production.

Maintain programming documentation and revision control.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification is a plus.

Minimum of three (3) years of CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment.

Experience programming multi-axis CNC machining centers.

Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, cutting parameters, and manufacturing processes.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.

Experience troubleshooting machining issues and implementing program improvements.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience programming with CATIA V5 and validating machining programs using Vericut is strongly preferred.

Experience with CAD/CAM programming software.

Background in precision manufacturing or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.

Experience supporting continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
