CNC Programmer 
Location: Long Island, NY

Responsibilities

  • Program custom parts and tooling for specialized manufacturing applications.
  • Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for milling and lathe operations.
  • Set up CNC milling and lathe machines for production.
  • Create tooling methods and support tool design and manufacturing.
  • Test, verify, and troubleshoot CNC programs on production equipment.
  • Update programs to incorporate engineering changes and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate programming documentation and follow quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience programming CNC equipment including:
    • Mills: Mazak, OKK, Niigata
    • Lathes: Puma
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (CATIA experience preferred).
  • Experience using ERP systems (Epicor 10 preferred).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to pass a preemployment screening
