Are you an experienced CNC Grinder Operator or CNC Machinist looking for a stable, full-time opportunity with a growing manufacturing company?
We are seeking skilled OD CNC Grinder Operators who can set up, program, and operate CNC grinding machines while producing high-precision parts that meet customer blueprint specifications. What You'll Do:
As a CNC OD Grinder Operator, you will:

Set up, program, and operate CNC OD grinding machines
-
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
-
Create and edit CNC programs using G-Code, Mastercam, or manufacturer-specific programming
-
Select the proper grinding wheels, tooling, and fixtures for each job

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment including:
-
Micrometers
-
Calipers
-
Comparators
-
CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
-
Other precision inspection equipment
-

Verify product quality and maintain tight tolerances
-
Complete production documentation including SPC charts, route sheets, inspection records, and quality documentation
-
Perform machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenance
-
Monitor production flow and help maximize efficiency within the department

Assist with troubleshooting machining processes and improving productivity
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
-
Support continuous improvement initiatives and world-class manufacturing practices
-
Mentor and assist operators and trainees as needed
What We're Looking For
Qualified candidates should have:
-
Previous CNC grinding or CNC machining experience
-
Experience setting up and operating CNC grinding equipment
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
-
Knowledge of precision machining practices and grinding operations
-
Experience using precision measuring tools
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
-
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Strong communication skills
*Experience with carbide or ceramic machining is a plus.
Education & Experience:
-
High school diploma or GED preferred
-
Equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered

Ongoing technical and safety training provided
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to:
