We are currently looking for CNC Machinists responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts for in-house production. This role requires attention to detail, technical skill, and a commitment to quality. The machinist works closely with team members to ensure all parts meet stringent standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up CNC lathes and Milling machines, and other machine equipment to produce precision parts
  • Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to fabricate parts accurately.
  • Utilize CAM programming (Mastercam) for CNC machines when necessary.
  • Employ precision measuring instruments, such as bore gauges, micrometers and calipers, to verify dimensions of finished products.
  • Maintain tooling and equipment in optimal working condition, performing routine maintenance as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with Haas UMC-500SS 5-axis machining center, including simultaneous 5-axis machining 
  • Experience working with automation systems such as robotic loading systems and pallet pools.
  • Proven experience as a CNC lathe and Milling machinist with proficiency in setting up milling machines and lathes.
  • Familiarity with CNC operations setup and operations is mandatory.
  • Experience with CAM programming (MasterCAM) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of precision measuring instruments including bore gauges and micrometer.
  • Knowledge of tooling techniques and materials used in machining processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Salary $27-$38 an hour based on experience

Shift 2nd (2:30 pm to 11 pm Monday through Friday)(OT as needed)
