CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift (Contract Position)
Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a 2nd Shift contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong machining experience, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Monday – Friday
- Overtime available as needed

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other quality tools.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor machining issues.
- Maintain production and quality records accurately.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer requirements and production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
- Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machining centers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency using precision measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the shift.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
