CNC Setup Machinist
Shift:2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 330pm -1130pm
Position Summary
The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background, mechanical aptitude, and experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce quality parts according to specifications (Okuma and Haas machines onsite)
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production documents
Perform routine machine adjustments and monitor machine performance
Perform machine changeovers and setup
Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all company safety and production procedures
Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years of CNC operation experience in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience setting up CNC machines
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read measuring instruments and blueprints to perform basic quality checks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
