There is also excellent opportunity to earn 1.5x pay for OT hours worked. (2nd shift position with regular hours of M-F 4:15 pm - 12:45 am plus 15% shift differential pay)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently run various CNC Lathe Machines performing set-up, operation and program editing
- Responsible for selecting the appropriate scheduled job, setting up and running it to completion using any prints or other necessary documentation.
- Measuring and offsetting tooling.
- Marking and packing tools appropriately.
- Performing self in-process inspections and documenting them appropriately.
- Following company protocol: designated colored areas and colored tagging system.
- Performing machine maintenance based on guidelines.
- Responsible for bringing any non-conformity to the attention of the Operations Manager.
- Responsible for running & inspecting parts per dwg/print.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education and /or experience; high school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years min work experience performing set-up and operation of CNC Lathe / Turning machinery
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated self-starter
- Enjoy working in a team environment as well as independently with little supervision
