PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Follow the procedures for gowning and working in the GMP cleanrooms
  • Carry out the procedures for routine daily, weekly, and monthly cleanroom sanitization activities in controlled classified areas and cleaning in the controlled unclassified areas of the facilities
  • Collect and properly dispose of all non-hazardous waste throughout the cleanrooms
  • Collect all used gowning garments and remove from cleanrooms for proper shipment to launderer
  • Carry out non-routine sanitization, cleaning, or material movement activities as directed by supervision and/or management
  • Conduct basic data entry into company systems and logbooks following good documentation practices.
  • Operate basic equipment and carry out routine tasks following detailed instructions or standard operating procedures.
  • Perform routine stocking, restocking, and inventory accounting of all gowning materials disinfection, and assigned consumable supplies
  • Assure low inventories are planned for replenishment through excellent communication
  • Administrative tasks and other tasks:
  • Stay current with SOP's and training
  • Attend department and group meetings as required
  • Become familiar with basic GDP/cGMP activities and requirements and actively supporting the execution and adherence to these elements
  • Follow safety practices and procedures; use personal protection equipment (PPE) appropriate to the type of hazard and exposure potential; Actively participating in identifying and resolving safety issues
  • Support general cleanroom manufacturing functions and assist in organization and housekeeping activities; including improvement programs like 5S following written procedures or as verbally directed by supervision
  • Assisting in the ordering of cleanroom sanitor supplies and gowning supplies as directed by supervision

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Secondary / Intermediate (5 GCSE)0-2 years Experience working in a cleanroom or laboratory environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly and effectively communicate to peers and supervisors/managers.
  • Must read and write in English and be able to generate and maintain clear and accurate documentation of work performed.
  • Capable of accurately performing basic arithmetic.
  • Ability to work in a heavily regulated environment, experience of working in GDP/GMP environment is a plus.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection.
  • Good interpersonal skills, display of good attention to detail and desire to work with or in teams.
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel as well as PowerPoint (Microsoft Suite) are preferred.
  • Ability to:
  • Adhere to strict hygiene requirements
  • Stand for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area;
  • Grasp objects utilizing the fingers (fine motor manipulation);Reach for objects above the head or below the waist;
  • Stoop or crouch by bending at the waist or by bending the legs
  • Determine basic colors visuallyLift up to 40 pounds
