Cleanroom Assembler
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble, fabricate, and clean parts into subassemblies and complete units
- Test, calibrate, inspect, and certify parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
- Read and interpret blueprint requirements, including:
- Epicor receiving and rejecting parts
- Final inspection, exception identification, and document filing
- Epicor verification, buy-off, and hard card stamping
- In-process inspection and verification that all test certifications are included in the hard card
- Measuring sealing surfaces and O-ring depth
Required Skills & Abilities
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to use hand tools, torque wrenches, and small power tools
- Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers
- Knowledge and proper use of calipers, torque wrenches, helicoil, keensert, and Lee plug installation tools
- Knowledge of testing and integration
- Ability to read wiring schematics
- Ability to follow blueprints and written instructions
- Ability to train and certify other assemblers
- Ability to maintain quality standards
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 5–7 years of manufacturing assembly experience preferred (at least 1 year preferred as a baseline)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Special Requirements
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to wear cleanroom attire for cleanroom assembly
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods
