Employees will work an 8.5-hour shift, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch, for a total of 8 paid working hours per day.
Some flexibility may be available regarding start and end times based on performance and business needs.
Position Overview
The Claims Associate – Consumer will support high-volume claims and refund processing activities in a fast-paced environment. The individual must be able to review information, make timely decisions, accurately document work, and manage multiple priorities while meeting established productivity and quality expectations.
Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while also collaborating with a broader team.
Qualifications
Education and Licensing
- High school diploma or GED required
- No professional license required
- Minimum of one year of general office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous claims industry experience preferred
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions in a fast-paced environment
Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of first-party property and casualty claims adjudication, as applicable to the assigned line of business
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work within multiple systems simultaneously
- Strong analytical and interpretive skills
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Remote Work and Internet Requirements
Candidates must have high-speed broadband internet service that meets the following minimum requirements:
- Download Speed: 25 Mbps
- Upload Speed: 8 Mbps
- Company computer must be connected directly to the home router using an Ethernet cable
- Wi-Fi connections are not permitted, regardless of upload or download speed
- Candidate must have an appropriate home workspace that allows the computer to connect directly to the router

Candidates may temporarily need to use a personal device to attend the beginning of training if company equipment has not yet arrived.
