Job Summary
The Channel Letter Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, and finishing illuminated channel letters and signage components according to production specifications. This role requires attention to detail, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Assemble channel letters, including returns, backs, and faces, following drawings and specifications
· Install LED modules, wiring, and power supplies according to electrical standards
· Perform soldering and basic electrical connections
· Ensure proper placement of components for illumination consistency and quality
· Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively
· Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred
· Experience in sign manufacturing, electrical assembly, or similar field is a plus
· Basic knowledge of wiring, soldering, and electrical components
· Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work orders
· Strong attention to detail and quality
· Ability to work with hands and perform repetitive tasks
· Good communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand for extended periods
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
· Comfortable working with tools and small components
