Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Builder
to join our team at an ambulance refurbishing company in Sanford, FL. This role is critical in rebuilding and installing high-quality cabinetry inside emergency vehicles. Candidates must have hands-on experience in woodworking, cabinetry, and precision assembly.
Responsibilities:
- Build, assemble, and install custom cabinets for ambulance interiors
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials with accuracy
- Operate woodworking tools and machinery safely
- Repair or modify existing cabinetry as needed
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cabinet builder or similar woodworking role (REQUIRED)
- Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- High attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on vehicle interiors, RVs, or specialty builds
- Familiarity with laminate, veneers, and composite materials
