Context
Job scope with low to medium complexity in terms of business dynamics: demand & customers, supplier accounts or products, planning and span of control. Tasks are operational, following standard processes and done under supervision.
Interfaces with stakeholders up to manager level under supervision/with support of senior colleagues or manager.
Provides support to PGP deliverables.
Leads short term projects (up to 3 months) within the team or is member of a larger project.
Requirements
Msc in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration, or equivalent working and thinking level.
Experience in working with process frameworks and improvement tools and techniques.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis
Gathers and analyzes relevant data on business planning to understand root causes of issues and set priorities for resolutions/improvements. Focuses on operational level.
Cost management & Investment decisions
Identifies cost saving opportunities for own job scope. Provides information for investment decisions for internal and external parties to achieve business growth.
Business Acumen
Has a clear understanding of the vision and mission of the department. Knows business dynamics and applies this knowledge to contribute to improvement projects.
Supply Chain Management knowledge
Understands supply chain processes related to the core job.
Monitoring & Reporting
Reports on key performance indicators, draws insights and leverages them to set actions for the team.
Communications (External & Internal)
Communicates effectively. Method & frequency in line with urgency and importance.
Stakeholder Management
Actively maintains relationships with direct counterparts at own level. Provides support to the senior business planner in the stakeholder management by arranging meetings, events and supporting materials.

Solves problems in a structured way. Standardizes own work. Leads small initiatives and/or contributes to projects led by others.

Acts as buddy for new hires joining the team.
