Overview
Client is seeking a Data Analytics / Business Intelligence professional to design, maintain, and improve position-level change tracking and analytics across HR and finance data. This role will focus on translating complex position lifecycle events into clear, auditable data flows and dashboards that support analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
Core Responsibilities
Design and maintain analytics for position-level lifecycle changes across HR and finance data.
Translate position events such as creation, elimination, modification, replacement, and overlap into clear data flows.
Build dashboards and reporting views that support business analysis and stakeholder decision-making.
Work with messy, event-driven data from multiple source systems.
Partner with Finance, HR, and Operations stakeholders to understand reporting needs, validate data, and improve visibility.
Ensure data flows and dashboards are clear, traceable, and auditable.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
3–5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related analytics role.
Experience working with HR, finance, workforce, headcount, position, or organizational data.
Strong ability to analyze complex, event-driven data from multiple source systems.
Experience designing dashboards, reports, or analytical data views.
Ability to translate business events and lifecycle changes into structured data logic.
Strong stakeholder communication skills across Finance, HR, and Operations teams.
Experience working with messy or incomplete data and improving data quality for reporting.
Preferred Skills or Experience
Experience with position management, workforce planning, headcount reporting, or organizational change analytics.
Experience building auditable reporting processes or data flows.
Experience supporting analytics in large enterprise environments.
