Blender Technician - 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift
(Must be flexible with start and end times based on production demands. Occasional Saturdays may be required.)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Blender Technician to support the production of liquid food products in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for accurately batching and blending ingredients according to production formulas, operating mixing and processing equipment, monitoring product quality, and ensuring all production specifications are met.
This is a hands-on manufacturing position working with large-scale blending systems, production equipment, ingredients, and raw materials. Candidates should have previous experience in food manufacturing, beverage production, chemical blending, liquid processing, or a similar batch-processing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately weigh, measure, and add ingredients according to production formulas and batch sheets.
  • Operate and monitor blending, mixing, pasteurization, and processing equipment.
  • Transfer raw materials and finished products using pumps, hoses, tanks, and related production equipment.
  • Monitor batch consistency, temperatures, processing times, and product specifications throughout production runs.
  • Conduct routine quality checks and document results.
  • Complete production records, batch documentation, and inventory transactions accurately.
  • Stage and replenish ingredients and packaging materials to support production schedules.
  • Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed.
  • Troubleshoot minor processing issues and communicate equipment or quality concerns promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with GMPs, food safety standards, HACCP procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Assist with equipment cleaning, sanitation, and changeovers between production runs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work area.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience as a Blender, Batch Mixer, Compounder, Production Operator, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience following formulas, recipes, batch sheets, or production specifications.
  • Experience working with liquid blending, ingredient batching, food manufacturing, beverage production, chemical processing, or related industries strongly preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations involving weights, measurements, and batch quantities.
  • Comfortable working around tanks, mixers, pumps, hoses, and production equipment.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
