Duties/Responsibilities:

Looking for a candidate who will be required to read work orders and verbal instructions to ascertain materials or components.

Responsible for feeding or stacking down materials at equipment.

Jog product off counter stacker and stack neatly on skid to ensure successful running in the next stage of production.

Feed and jog materials from skids into pockets of the assigned machine.

Strap, box and skid product as needed per ticket.

Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on boxes or skids of product.

Utilize a box taping machine, utilize manual and automatic strapping machines required in production areas.

May occasionally operate manual pallet jack to assist in loading and moving of materials and products.

Carry boxing materials from holding area or utilize carts to retrieve materials.

Basic Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of general warehouse layout and procedures.

Able to feed, stock, move, jog, arrange, unload and rotate items on/off bindery and/or finishing equipment in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a bindery operator or supervisor.

Basic familiarity with industrial safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

Prior experience operating bindery or production machinery, preferably in a printing or manufacturing environment.

Previous experience working in a team-oriented environment, effectively communicating with colleagues and management to ensure efficient workflow.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods of time

Ability to articulate repetitive motions via grasping product

Ability to lift, carry and maneuver up to 40 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently

Ability to push, pull, squat, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach in various positions to complete tasks

Ability to work in a noisy environment while using required protective equipment

Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Ability to climb stairs to mezzanine for parts and boxes
