Bilingual Team Lead
Pet Supplies Plus Distribution Center – Orangeburg, SC
Position Summary
The Bilingual Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, leading and supporting associates, and ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are met. This position serves as a key communication link between management and team members and utilizes bilingual skills (English/Spanish) to support training, coaching, and operational success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and support warehouse associates in daily distribution center operations.
- Communicate work assignments, priorities, and company expectations in both English and Spanish.
- Monitor employee performance, productivity, attendance, and adherence to safety procedures.
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
- Ensure accurate receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control processes.
- Promote a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
- Identify operational issues and collaborate with management to implement solutions.
- Conduct shift meetings and provide updates on goals, safety, and performance metrics.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse safety standards.
- Complete required reports and documentation related to production and staffing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience required.
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient with warehouse management systems and basic computer applications preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).

Full-time, overtime as needed
