Bilingual Production Lead – Packing & Manufacturing
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Bilingual Production Lead (English/Spanish) to support a fast-paced manufacturing and packaging operation in the Charlotte area.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, leading by example, and keeping a production team organized and on task. Employees in this facility are responsible for the production, inspection, and packaging of plastic consumer products such as spoons, forks, knives, and other plasticware.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support production and packing associates during the assigned shift
- Communicate daily instructions and expectations in both English and Spanish
- Help assign employees to production lines and work areas
- Monitor workflow to ensure production and packing goals are being met
- Ensure finished products are properly inspected, counted, packed, and prepared for shipment
- Assist with training and onboarding new associates
- Reinforce safety, quality, attendance, and workplace expectations
- Identify production or staffing concerns and communicate them promptly to management
- Help keep employees productive and work areas clean and organized
- Assist with employee questions and provide direction throughout the shift
- Lead by example and help create a positive, productive work environment
Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Previous lead, team lead, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to give clear instructions and work with a diverse team
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift
- Ability to perform repetitive production and packing duties as needed
- Must be willing to work alongside the team when additional support is needed
