Summary:
Nesco Resource is hiring dependable and motivated Batch Transfer Operations Support Associates to join a leading beverage manufacturing facility in Webster, NY. This role provides hands-on support to the Batch Transfer Operations team and helps maintain efficient truck turnaround times for milk deliveries, cream loadout, and lactose loadout. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to build experience in a fast-paced manufacturing and food production environment while working as part of a safety-focused, high-performing team. This position has the potential to become a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift & Schedule:

  • Day Shift: 3:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule

  • 36 hours one week / 48 hours the following week

  • Built-in overtime every other week based on the rotating schedule

  • Must be available to work weekends as part of the rotating schedule

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Training:
Training will be provided on safety, quality, GMP standards, and role-specific responsibilities by Supervisors, Leads, and Flex team members.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and properly label sample vials used during the milk sampling process.

  • Deliver prepared sample vials to Milk Transfer Operators as needed.

  • Transport collected samples to the receiving laboratory for processing.

  • Clean and wash down receiving bays while following all GMP and food safety requirements.

  • Stock and maintain necessary supplies in each receiving bay throughout the workday.

  • Assist with trucks entering and exiting receiving bays by opening and closing bay doors and guiding drivers into the appropriate position.

  • Communicate clearly with truck drivers regarding sequencing and movement into receiving bays.

  • Help maintain the receiving area in a clean, organized, and GMP/inspection-ready condition.

  • Follow all safety, quality, sanitation, and food safety procedures.

  • Communicate any safety, quality, equipment, or operational concerns to the appropriate Supervisor or Lead.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand and follow all safety standards, procedures, and workplace policies.

  • Ability to follow GMP and food safety standards, including proper PPE and equipment requirements.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow direction from Supervisors and Leads.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently when needed.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work through unexpected situations.

  • Must be comfortable working around a busy truck receiving and production environment.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to walk up and down stairs regularly.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.


Food Safety & GMP Requirements:

  • Follow all applicable GMP, food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.

  • Maintain clean and inspection-ready work areas.

  • Use required PPE and follow all safety procedures.

  • Properly handle and transport samples to maintain accuracy and integrity.

  • Report any conditions that could impact product quality, food safety, or employee safety.

  • Follow established procedures when cleaning and sanitizing receiving bays and equipment.

  • Maintain accurate and organized work practices throughout the shift.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to regularly walk up and down stairs.

  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull as needed to complete job duties.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment around trucks, receiving bays, and production operations.

  • Must be comfortable working in an environment where sanitation and washdown activities are regularly performed.

  • Ability to wear required PPE for the duration of the shift.
