Batch Operator – Textile Manufacturing

Nesco Resource is hiring a Batch Operator   We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented candidate with manufacturing experience who is comfortable working with raw materials, chemicals, formulas, and industrial production equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix batches of chemicals, dyes, solutions, or other materials used in textile production
• Measure, weigh, and combine raw materials according to established formulas and batch sheets
• Operate mixing tanks, pumps, blenders, and other batching equipment
• Follow recipes and production specifications carefully to ensure accurate batches
• Monitor temperatures, mixing times, chemical levels, and other processing requirements
• Transfer completed batches to designated production equipment or storage areas
• Properly identify, label, and document batches and materials
• Record lot numbers, weights, quantities, and other required production information
• Perform basic quality checks and report any product or material inconsistencies
• Clean tanks, containers, tools, and equipment between batches as required
• Follow proper chemical handling, PPE, SDS, and plant safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized production area
• Assist other production departments as needed

Qualifications

• Previous textile, chemical, manufacturing, machine operating, or batching experience preferred
• Ability to accurately follow formulas, measurements, and written instructions
• Basic math skills, including weights, measurements, and quantities
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work safely around chemicals and industrial equipment
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical duties throughout the shift
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team

• Previous manufacturing or textile experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as needed.
