Standard Job Description:
Researches designs develops and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.
Typical Minimums:
•Experience in development phase of aerospace hardware.
•Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
•Experience in presentations and in written communication skills.
•A Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
•Experience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Circuit Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis).
Desired Skills:
•Experience with analog / power circuit Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA).
•Experience instructing and creating training materials for Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
•Experience in electronic systems schematic creation and interpretation, and Electronics Modeling/Simulation Software such as SPICE.
•Experience performing failure Investigation on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System
Level).
•Demonstrated good communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, stakeholders, subcontractors and customers.
•Demonstrated ability to work in a exciting, dynamic, collaborative team environment and to create consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members.
•Demonstrated excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
•Able to work effectively in a team environment.
