Overview

Client is seeking an experienced Avionics Systems Engineer to support development, systems integration, and verification of core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics applications hosted on a Next Generation Avionics Platform. This role requires strong experience with model-based systems engineering, avionics, embedded systems, DO160, qualification, and EMI competency.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support development, systems integration, and verification of Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics applications.
  • Develop, validate, integrate, and verify systems and software requirements.
  • Support model-based system design activities.
  • Support avionics graphics development for aircraft systems applications.
  • Work with aircraft position and navigation sensors, including Air Data, AHRS, and GPS.
  • Integrate or interface with aircraft systems such as flaps, gear, cabin pressure, and FADEC.
  • Support qualification and EMI-related engineering activities for avionics systems.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

  • Engineering or Computer Science degree.
  • Experience with model-based systems engineering.
  • Experience with avionics systems.
  • Experience with embedded systems.
  • Experience with DO160.
  • Qualification experience.
  • EMI competency.
  • Experience with systems/software requirements development, validation, integration, or verification.
  • Experience supporting aircraft systems monitoring, aircraft state, or avionics applications.

Preferred Skills or Experience

  • Experience with Simulink.
  • Experience with ARINC 661 graphics development.
  • Experience with Scade.
  • Experience with aircraft position and navigation sensors, including Air Data, AHRS, and GPS.
  • Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems such as flaps, gear, cabin pressure, or FADEC.
