Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Avon, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing automotive repairs, inspections, maintenance, and diagnostics. This position requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform automotive inspections, repairs, and maintenance services
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using proper testing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair vehicle systems and components
- Perform preventative maintenance and service procedures
- Replace, repair, and install automotive parts as needed
- Follow repair procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Inspect completed work to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance requirements
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician or mechanic experience preferred
- Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose vehicle issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to use hand tools and automotive equipment safely
- Must be reliable and able to maintain good attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a shop environment for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move automotive parts and equipment as needed
- Comfortable working with various tools and machinery
